What is a Compassionate Community?

A compassionate community is one where neighbours, organizations, and local services work together to support those facing life-limiting illnesses, chronic illness, caregiving, dying, and grieving.  It’s about creating a network of care that extends beyond professional services, fostering an environment where everyone feels supported and connected. Every compassionate community is different, as each is created based upon the needs of the individual community.
